"Long Legs" is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the year, based on the gripping trailers released by Neon. From what we've seen so far, Neon's marketing team has displayed sheer brilliance in crafting these trailers, particularly the one titled "That is Not My Daughter." With just two photos, they've managed to instill a sense of intrigue and unease that is both captivating and chilling.

In the first photo, we're presented with what appears to be an idyllic family scene, yet the background audio of a frantic 911 call from the father immediately sets a tone of tension and mystery. As the camera zooms in on the young girl's face, the father's panicked declaration, "that is not my daughter," sends shivers down the spine. The trailer's seamless editing and escalating music build an atmosphere of suspense, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

Neon's approach to the trailer is masterful; it keeps audiences in the dark about the plot while providing tantalizing glimpses that leave us hungry for more. This trailer achieves what all great trailers should: it piques curiosity and generates anticipation without giving away too much. "Long Legs" has undoubtedly succeeded in capturing our attention and leaving us eager to uncover the secrets it holds.

While it's premature to assign a score without having seen the full film, one thing is certain: "Long Legs" promises to be a standout horror movie of the year, offering thrills, chills, and an unforgettable cinematic experience.
